Nina Sherrard Final Project Proposal
Short description of what the planned story is - for college students in our generation, a recent social trend is for the traditional idea of the "dating" scene has turned into more of a "hookup" scene. The way college students court each other has evolved, but why? How do college students feel about it?
Who you plan to interview - man on the street interviews; students Jackie Dempsey and Tommy Foley, a couple who met in college
Where you plan to shoot footage - The University of Maryland campus, the bars, a party, students' rooms
What the hook is - The way in which our generation interacts socially and romantically in college has changed from a traditional understanding of exclusive labeling to a "talking" phase in which there is less or no commitment

Nate Harold: Final Project Pitch
Short Description: My project will be focused on profiling a student-composed, independent band that performs for events on and off campus. The project will incorporate how the students met initially, how they discovered their similar music interests, their musical experiences and how and when they decided to form their band.
People to interview: Sarah Lee, Elie Rizk and Philip Peker (all band members)
Location for filming: One Stone Studios in Baltimore, MD
Hook: How meeting people at the University of Maryland and becoming involved on campus affected these students' lives, and to provide an example of how getting involved can change other students' lives as well.

Sebastian Obando Final Project Pitch
Short Description: The project will center around an intramural soccer team at the University of Maryland, and how students split their time for classwork and extracurricular sports. The project will highlight how intramural soccer is run at the University of Maryland.
People To Interview: The team's captain and other students on the team.
Location: Turf soccer fields next to Xfinity center, where the intramural soccer games take place.
Hook: Students at the University of Maryland should take advantage of extracurricular activities that the school offers, such as intramural soccer or other sports.
